Let’s talk about excellence and exquisiteness today. Which is the most sophisticated piece of jewelry? Of course the little, gentle pearls. Nothing fulfills better an elegant lady’s look than a beautiful pearl necklace. Some may argue that diamonds give better appearance. I would say – diamonds are for every day and pearls – for every special occasion.
It is absolutely fascinating how pearls are being produced in the nature. Did you know that almost any shelled mollusk can, by natural processes, produce some kind of “pearl” but the great majority of these are not valued as gemstones? A “natural pearl” or “wild pearl” is one that forms without any human intervention at all, in the wild, and is very rare. And probably that is why is so precious and amazingly beautiful!
Out of all kind of pearls the Tahitian type is one of the most valuable, because of its rarity. Before the days of cultured pearls, black pearls were rare and highly valued for the simple reason that white pearl oysters rarely produced naturally black pearls, and black pearl oysters rarely produced any natural pearls at all. Since the development of pearl culture technology, the black pearl oyster found in Tahiti and many other Pacific Island areas has been extensively used for producing cultured pearls. So the rarity of the black cultured pearls has become a “comparative” issue but they are still one of the most precious and valuable type of jewelry.
Dear ladies, I have presented you with all that information not only because I admire pearls as part of every woman’s jewelry box, but to give you an idea of excellence and sophistication. What can be more unique than a perfect little piece created in the wild with no human’s influence? Think about all those special moments that life is going to give you – weddings, family and company celebrations, balls, banquets, etc. Don’t you want to have just the ideal finishing touch for your elegant outfit? If yes – we recommend pearls as bracelets, rings and earstuds or even better – an exquisite Tahitian pearl necklace!
