Adios Amigos, Hello Costa Rica

Hello my dear friends! Thank you, everybody who voted for My-Vogue in the biggest blogger competition – we are now in the top 10! YHAYYY! There is a lot of time though until the end of the competition, so I still need your support and votes! And because your votes are more important than the prize, we agreed to give away the first $1000 that Very.com would let us have, if we win. If you want to participate simply go to Facebook by clicking here, like the Very.com page, click on VOTE and then come back here to our Competition page to leave a comment and enter our private contest.

I won’t bother you with any more requests for voting and contests for the next 4 days as I am going on vacation to the rainy and beautiful Costa Rica – the most visited nation in the Central American region! That is a country without any army so I would take that as a sign for peaceful, friendly and positive people. Another sign is the national catch phrase of the people and the country – “pura vida,” which translates to “pure life.”

As far as fashion goes people probably need to consider the tropical climate. It rains every day for 7 months during the year and it never goes below 50 degrees Fahrenheit so no outerwear, boots, winter accessories or whatsoever. Which may be sad for some people, but hey, what’s better that being able to go in a summer dress and flip flops all year long. That’s why Costa Ricans are so easy going, smiling and positive. I hope to  acquire  at least part of that energy and keep it during the winter. I will definitely pass it through my thoughts here. So time to go now, the most amazing Jaco beach vacation house is expecting us – stay cool and don’t forget to VOTE. Will see you next week. Bye.
