Fall Trend Report: Polka Dots

Looks like polka dots have become Marc Jacobs’ favorite element just like plaids for Burberry. Well I think it is a wonderful idea to rock some dots for fall since the season is being mainly associated with dark and gloomy colors and polka dot prints are exactly the opposite – fun, vintage and cute! So inspired by those gorgeous models we went and looked for more affordable fashions to suggest for your autumn closet. Although Diane von Furstenberg also showed some fabulous polka dot cute outfits looks like the online boutiques are not picking the trend too much in their new collections. One of the strongest supporters we found are Forever 21, Asos, Bluefly, shopbop.com. And we decided to show you an outfit by DVF, cute top by my-wardrobe and shoes available at Endless although those may be pieces from last years. Well if you like the trend feel free to wear it all season long. Get light on the accessories and don’t cover yourself with polka dots from head to toe as you will look like a doll dressed for a Halloween party.
