This one would be for all of you who like to add some sparkle to their daily outfits. You’ve probably heard many times that sequins and shiny clothes in general are for nightwear only and not to be rocked during the day. Well maybe that’s true. I like to always distinguish my “going out” clothes from the “office” apparel just because the first ones are special and the second ones – boring. That doesn’t mean though that we should not add some diversity to our working outfits. And that’s exactly what would make us stand out with personal taste and fashion style. For example sometimes I would put one of my clubbing pieces when dressing for the office just so I feel prettier and sexier and show off with something “new”. So if you want to look different in your daily routine – replace the sequins with beads and the shiny fabrics with embroidery or embellishments. Those elements are interesting enough and very fancy but at the same time allow the piece to still look elegant and “work appropriate”. Match those with simple accessories and more conservative shoes to avoid overdressing which will make you feel uncomfortable among your colleagues wearing khakis and tank tops + cardigans as we are always freezing…
We managed to find several beautiful picks at Arden B but they were not quite office oriented, so we borrowed ideas from other places. To match those two cute outfits for fall we chose a beaded sweater from Bluefly and embellished dress by the Outnet.
