Are you ready for another post on “what not to wear“? My mind today is going in two directions – flats and skinny pants. For some reason I don’t like these together but I know it’s a common practice to be matched in an outfit. Here is what I think: skinnies outline your legs and butt and when you add flats, the whole image turns into one word – SHORT. You are too close to the ground and you body looks shorter. Or if the pants are ankle high the impression is that they are too small for you. Or in case they are longer will just crinkle in a kind of ugly way over the shoes. Our advice is: wear long skinny pants/denims with heels. I know we are all different and not everybody likes to rock high shoes but low-heeled sandals or wedges are much better than flats and will definitely make you look taller. If you have only flats as you hate even low heels, roll those pants up, make them capris – believe me, that’s better. And in case you don’t trust our fashion tips, avoid the skinny styles and go for wide leg pants or shorts, anyway they are comfier in the heat. So let us know please: how do you rock flats and which are your favorite shoes for skinny pants?
