Today I am in a mood to think about relaxing weekends, comfy clothes, nice company and good food. Since we drove for 18 hours to go from Dallas to Kansas City and spent half of the weekend in the car, now I am looking forward to the next one, so I can have a proper off time doing nothing but relaxing. And because I like to make plans I am already thinking what is going to be the best thing to organize for this coming weekend. Somehow in my mind emerge the beautiful botanic and Japanese gardens in Fort Worth. There is nothing better than to grab a blanket, make a few sandwiches, get some cold drinks and share a nice and pleasant day with the nature! I am sure there is at least one beautiful garden or park wherever you are. And that’s not an option only for those who want to have a lazy weekend…That’s the perfect opportunity for a romantic date or a nice photo shoot or a small gather-together with friends.

Now how would you dress for such a casual and fun event – comfy – that’s the key word. I would never wear a skirt or dress to a picnic, unless it is a long maxy dress. It’s just not convenient - you want to have fun and relaxing time or to spend it trying to hide your underwear??? So I looked at Buckle.com and chose the most comfortable trendy clothes that created three very cute outfits. The first casual look pairs the BKE green burnout tank with the Lucky Brand cropped sweatpants and Reef jet flip flops. Green and navy blue is a combination becoming very trendy lately and I am liking it more and more. Although it’s preferable the green color to be a little darker, it still looks great. And the shell earrings are the perfect finishing touch to this cute outfit. Second idea is another very fresh summer combination – dark blue and yellow – it looks even better on tanned skin! I wasn’t intending to match a third cute outfit but just couldn’t stop myself when spotted that super sweet Daytrip tie-dye surplice tank. And because it is so colorful it can be paired only with jeans and why not BKE factory second shorts? Then it’s up to you to choose the flip flops – I think it looks cool with the BKE lana flip flops, but if that’s too much color for you, go for the Volcom green pair! Of course going to a picnic means you should dress all casual and comfy, but we have to always look trendy and cute – that’s why do not forget to accessorize a bit. And if you are going to spend a day outdoor – the sunscreen is a MUST have!
