The Best Christmas Present – One Magical Day at the Plano Spa

I wanted to share with you some great experience and recommend a perfect way to spend one of your holiday days doing something super nice and pleasant. So as I said this weekend I had one of my best days as I finally used my gift card for a luxurious Plano day Spa. I had an idea it will be fabulous, but they exceeded my expectations. This was like escaping from the reality – from work, problems, daily routine and going to a different peaceful world full of relaxation, revitalization, rejuvenation, quietness and nice people. I had only three of all the spa procedures they offer – the herbal bath, 60 min massage and facial, but they have numerous other activities including laser therapies and plastic interventions.  I also heard the mani and pedicure specialist is really good, so I am definitely coming back to try this one. But let me tell you a little bit more about my experience at the Plano Spa. First they surprised me with the herbal bath which was like heaven – a bath tub full of dead sea salts which are infused with organic lavender flowers and roses to create a soothing, therapeutic body bath treatment. And guess what – the lavender they use is coming all the way from my home country and I know that’s the best lavender in the world! That soothing herbal bath was so magical – you will feel every muscle relaxed and eased, your body warmed, especially when is so cold outside and it will totally melt the stress away. After the relaxing bath, a 60 min massage is the best thing that can happen to you. I was laying there listening to soft music and enjoying every touch of the masseur. In general who doesn’t love massages, but I so needed one, especially after sitting in a chair for 8 hours and with the weather being so cold, you feel your body like a piece of wood. But after you let the lady from the Spa at Willow Bend work your body, it feels alive – every muscle is eased and full with energy. My third procedure was the facial and I wasn’t very impatient to get it as I have a problem skin and those procedures were never being pleasant. I saw two girls at the lounge area who just had their facials and looked so happy. One of them told me – that is the best treatment I had in my life, you are going to love it and want to come back tomorrow! I wasn’t sure what is she talking about as I’ve never heard anybody enjoying facial procedures. But I was wrong – when she made me lay in the comfy and warm sheets and started massaging my face  and putting all kind of nice creams and masks it felt really good and energizing. Those girls were right – she does have magical fingers and knows how to make your skin feel fresh and at least 10 years younger.

After that amazing afternoon at the Plano Spa I was invited to a fashion show, but I will tell you about that one later. Enough for now about my good days! If you live around the DFW area go and check the spa yourself – it will be a lifetime experience. They have some very good December specials running at the moment. And that’s also the best Christmas present for moms, girlfriends, wives, sisters. Just the perfect little gift card that will make them feel young, relaxed and full of energy – everybody deserves it, if not once a month, at least during the most beautiful time of the year…
