There were a few trends this season that looked strange to me. For example the metallic prints – at first I thought: “what are these clothes, why we need to dress like going on stage?”, but then I found really nice pieces where the “metallic” is balanced and the dress looks very interesting and posh. Now the plaids – I was sure I would never wear anything with that print. It looked like dressing as a poor village girl that is getting some worn-out pieces from older friends. Until today – when I typed “plaid” in the search field of the Charlotte online store and it popped more than 140 items that are not bad at all. Just look at them – Charlotte has all kind of dresses, skirts, lingerie, tops, accessories and shoes in plaid prints. So if you need a new dress for a garden party, baby shower, some casual company event or a simple dinner with friends the plaid prints are perfect – trendy, girlish and easy to match.
