Trendy “sequins” Clothing by DH Styles

I would say we take a break from the denim outfits and look at another fall trend – the sequins. When I was doing the research on that topic it occurred to me that this trend started long ago – in spring 2008, but doesn’t want to go away as seen on the NY Fashion Week Spring 2010. Designers like Matthew Williamson, Thakoon, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Diane von Furstenberg showed beautiful sequin dresses on the runaways. Sequins pretty much participated in every collection, even if presented with just one piece. So if you like this kind of trendy clothing, you can still wear it all fall and winter and even next spring without being old-fashioned! That’s the perfect choice when you want to add some glamour and glitter to your look. Just be careful not to overdress – choose one favorite sequin piece and work your way through – match with neutral colors, don’t put too much make-up or accessories. Of course an outfit without a beautiful necklace, bracelet or headband is incomplete, but just one of these is enough when sequins are part of your fashion look. Also pay attention when shopping this kind of trendy apparel as some clothes can work only as costumes and that’s it. And you don’t want to look like Cher when walking around with your friends.
