It’s time for one more great trend when it comes to fashion summer dresses and these areee the long maxi dresses! When I first heard that “maxi dress” phrase I thought these are some giant XXXL dresses, but then I read that “maxi” stands for “maximum comfort”. It’s true – these long summer dresses are comfortable, but at the same time trendy and feminine. I tend to like the maxi dress as a casual piece of apparel only. I wouldn’t wear it as a clubwear – just don’t look fancy enough to me. But it is perfect for the summer – light, comfy and girlie. It is also a good fit for the early fall – matched with a nice cardigan or a light jacket. When it comes to shoes – I would pair it with flats, flip-flops or wedges. Just don’t think heels will look good on that type of long dress. But lots of accessories will do and also some cute summer fedora, especially if getting a beach outfit.
