Is it time for more thoughts on the subject “Pursuit of Happiness“? Since nobody shared his/her oppinion on the previous post, I decided I will give you more stuff to think about and provoke your comments. So many questions are stuck in my mind, do you think we will ever find the answers for them? Probably every person just looks for his own answers, so that he can attain the inner peace needed to live a normal life.
There are so many people that identify happiness with the successful career. It is really hard to find the balance between personal life, having children and be the best at work. That is why so many people choose the job and do not notice when exactly their life turned into work and the people they love are no longer around. Or is it worth choosing the career path before your children’s education?Which is worse – failure at work or failure as a parent? Overriding principles and people to rise in the boss’s eyes is also considered as satisfaction and happiness for some people. According to me they look happy only on the outside. In the inside they are lonely and miserable, but everybody has the right to choose his own way to be happy. If you feel good not respecting other’s opinion and only your prosperity matters, then go for it! But don’t forget those you are meeting on your way up…., because you will most probably see them on the way down.
Work is important, for most people it is life, however we should not identify ourselves with the company, we should not ruin our relatioanship or children’s life, because of the ambition to be the best at work or to be rich. People can never be rich enough, they will always want more. Don’t bring the negative emotions from the office home, just empty your head before you allow the work issues to become a reason for the next scandal with your boyfriend or children. Life is just one and is short. Yesterday will never come back. Let’s not ruin our life for the idea of being rich, be grateful for what you have, aim for more, however know your limits.
“It’s pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness. Poverty an’ wealth have both failed.” – Kin Hubbard

So many questions, but the answers are so few. very true. I do believe many humans search for the answers, but sometimes its better to sit back, live your life, and suddenly, life begans to unfold and you will be overwhelmed… your eyes will see so much.. you gain so much knowledge. and you realize those answers.. funny, they might have been with you all along.
Failure as a parent- is the worse.
Failing as a parent, is a scar to a child for LIFE.
more struggles, more problems, more stress for a kid or teen growing up as an adult. They will face problems and wont know how to get out, and the worse my occur. however, many do succeed and leave there past lives, but the scar is effective everyday. I think it is the worst because failing as a parent, you cant do a make-up class or take it next semester(like in school). As far as failing at work, not everyone is perfect in what they do, but in this world, there is always another job out there if one fails.
Imagine your daughter with her friends and they bring up a conversation about their childhoods. they each have a nice, funny story about their mom or dad. and when its your daughter’s turn, she thinks back and cant remember a nice thing her and her parents did together. They were always busy, working and working. Maybe they gave her nice, expensive things, but does love equal money?
In my eyes, Absolutely not.
I believe it is important to have the affection of human relationship rather than material things. meaning, we are humans, lets enjoy our company, lets be a happy understanding family, lets talk. something like that.
Nowadays in this world of economy and growing technology, its like were all becoming machines stuck at work, stuck on our electronics and stuck on our money.
I’m sorry, but i read this article today(Black-EVIL friday) on msn.com about a Wal-mart worker who died after crowd rushes into the store, trampling him to his death. And the worst thing about it, these people dont give a damn. Someone is down and you step on him along with 200 more and not one gets down to help. Im sure there is more to the story but its sad, very sad.
ahh, anyway, thank you for this blog. =)
