On Friday, October 24 was held the DSW shoe shopping party at the Prestonwood store. It was all fancy and colorful. The guests enjoyed the evening with a glass of wine and nice catering. The shoe shopping has never been so pleasant – relaxing music, smiley people – some even went home with a nice gift. The first 175 participants in the event got a free red leather purse.
“Hello Stiletto Shoe Club” – who organized the event gave the chance to everybody to participate in the signature pink carpet runway and show their fabulous shoes. However it was not only about fancy shoes, it was also about attitude and stage appearance. The winner was going to receive $100 DSW gift card. A few small awards – $10 gift cards were also given. Twenty four girls were standing in front of the pink carpet ready to make an extravagant showing of their shoes to the judges and impress them. The girls were walking on the carpet, acting like professional models, with so much enthusiasm. It was a tough decision for the judges. Finally they agreed that the green, fancy Gucci shoes deserve the award – was it because of the “Gucci” or the girl’s performance on the carpet? I guess Gucci had the last word 
. Cameras were taking shots all the time, it was like a real fashion shoe show. There were representatives from the media, everything was captured.
I guess it is an event that every woman has to attend and take advantage of the promotions and discounts. Otherwise how can you buy a nice pair of shoes for only $20??? Or is there a better way to enjoy the brand new Gucci and Prada models? Even if you can not afford to buy one, you can try them and ….take a picture – it is still worth it. Well at least I felt like a celebrity invited to a special party. So enjoy shoe shopping, ladies!
